Sarah Sanders' Republican Party Suffers Blow From Grassroots Patriots

Patriots' Mission: Return the power to the People

Grassroots conservatives across America are pushing back on the Republican Party establishment.

That happened in Arkansas last weekend when a conservative movement — Grassroots Patriots — sent their delegates to the 2024 Republican Party of Arkansas State Convention in Rogers.

Those delegates delivered Gov. Sarah Sanders’ Republican Party a major blow that continues to radiate within Arkansas political circles.

Sanders didn't attend the convention that lasted more than 10 hours, but Sanders’ state party chair, Joseph K. Wood, did — at least for awhile. He left before the convention was officially over.

Before he was chair, Wood was appointed to Secretary of the Department of Transformation and Shared Services by Sanders. Wood stepped down during the Lecterngate scandal of 2023.

And it didn't take long for the Patriots to take away some of his power during the convention.
